Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-8 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Write this sentence on the board If I were god I would erase human being from the world and ask students for some examples

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Giving students some blank paper and ask them what would they do if they were god and collect them and read loud after that ask students to guess who wrote this

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target

So now you know how to use a conditional sentence

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the subject

I’ll give them a reading passage and ask them to underline the parts in which conditional sentences is used

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

I’ll give them some papers with some exercise in it about type 2

Semi controlled practice (9-12 minutes)

I’ll want students to work in pairs and ask and answer conditional sentences with the topic of , animal, fruit, color, ( what would you be if you were an animal? )

Free practice (game) (8-10 minutes)

I have designed a game to play with students to make sure they understood everything
