The meaning, form and pronunciation of the vocabulary from the text (rooms and things in a house) will be practiced.
Pronunciation of "a double bed", a coffee table, a bath, a cooker, armchair, a washbasin, furniture, washing machine will be drilled. Teach "rent" as a noun, "How much is your rent?" Teach "rent" as a verb, "I rent a flat" Teach the difference between "countable vs. uncountable" with examples and practice whole class
Ss carefully study the plan of the flat and then try to match the words with the plan on their own and then check answers displayed on walls. Secondly, Ss will look again at the advert and the plan of the flat and answer some questions from the grammar and listening part 3 on their own. They will then check their answers in their assigned groups of 3-4 Ss/group. They can find their answer keys stuck under their desks.
In this last part, first Sts are introduced with some examples of the countables and uncountables through a presentation and interactive exercise. Later they will have to complete an exercise on their own to sort the countable and uncountable words from the text. A whole class FB will be given.
