To provide review of vocabulary for foods in the context of food
Procedure (32-60 minutes)
I will show students pictures of meat, fish, salad, chicken, fruit etc. I will try to elicit and stick them on the board. I will try to have a lot of repetition.
I will put students in pairs. One student will draw and the other will try to guess.
I will give students a sheet with photos and words and ask them to match. This will be the first time they see the written form.
I will give the names of them to students and make them stick next to the appropriate picture
In this part I will try to get the students to say 'I don't like (blanc), I eat (blanc) every day/often/never etc. by making 2 sample sentences on 2 students and then getting them to writing sentences individually and than checking with their pairs.
I will make students write 3 sentences true of themselves
