To activate students' existing knowledge of the topic and identify what they would like to learn about the topic and introduce the words about universe
Subsidiary Aims

To provide clarification of words about astronomy in the context of ''Where are we in the universe?''
Procedure (12-16 minutes)
T asks the Ss ''where are we now?'' and asks ''where are we in the universe?'' T will elicit from the Ss then open the video about our place in the universe. Then T will display the Discover Poster 1. T will have the Ss discuss the poster in small groups (3-4 Ss). Groups should identif what they see in each picture and identify something interesting or special in each picture. Then T will open the the opener video on Oxford Discover 4 Itool.
T will elicit the words that they have already known. Then T will open the audio 1.02. Ss will listen to it. Then T will show the flashcards to introduce the words. After that, T will ask Ss to put the words in the correct order on their coursebook. T will call Ss to WB for the feedback.
