Description
In this lesson, students learn some vocabulary about family through guided discovery based on some photos and definitions.
The lesson starts with showing images of "my" family and friends getting students to think who they are, then followed by grouping them to match each word with the right photo.
This is followed by a" find your partner task to match the vocabulary and definitions. Finally, drilling pronouncing and modeling words that appear difficult and then to let students tell about their families writing notes and discussing about it.

Procedure
To introduce new vocabulary • to provide accuracy in pactising the family words and the thier definitions
Unit:1 Lesson :1 Sp :6 Warm up I draw a line representing a word asking students to guess it after that I use it as a magic word . Presentation I play a power point getting students to guess who is there in the picture I give students -in pairs cut out paper asking them to find the word then In group work i ask students to write the word in the card and match it to the picture. again in pairs i give them time to find their partner to match the words and the definitions then to stick it on the walls. after that I read aloud a small paragraph about one of my family giving hem a chance to write notes not sentences. then I ask them in pairs to speak about members in their family follow up.
