Procedure (60-90 minutes)
First I ask them several questions related to food. Then, I will have them stand around the class. Then, I distribute cards with picture on them. They should describe the content without saying the name of the food directly.They take turns.
I write 5 to 8 vocabularies on the board. Then, I ask them to read them to find out if they can pronounce it or if anyone can describe the meaning in English. If there are new vocabularies, I clarify for them through explanations, body language or other approaches.
I give them 4 minutes to read the text and think about questions. Then, they have 4 minutes to work in pairs to check their answers with each other.
I ask volunteers to answer to several questions related to the text.
I ask them to create a short scenario with their partner. One of them should be a doctor and the other one is searching for advice to stay healthier and live longer.
I stick a poster to the board and try to elicit them
I give them instruction about how and when to use them and also give them examples.
Students are given 5 minutes to solve the practice in book. Then, we check their answers by playing the related audio.
They should solve the practice in page 28 and then check them in pairs.
I give them worksheets and ask them to ask questions about the quantity of materials using the grammar. They should take turn in asking and answering.
