To provide gist and detailed listening practice using a text about memory and the human face in the context of remembering faces.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide pronunciation practice.

To provide fluency speaking practice in a discussion in the context of remember.
Procedure (35-45 minutes)
* ask them to find the parts of the face and complete
* Divide the Class in two groups. * Tell them they will see some pictures and they will have two describe it. * Give Group A picture 1, and give Group B picture 1.1 * Give them some time to discuss. * Ask them to share with the whole class their ideas. * Ask "Did you notice anything strange?"
* Tell the students they will listen to a recording. * Ask them to listen and Identify what is NOT FINE with pictures 1 (A) and 1.1 (B) * Let them share what they heard.
* tell students they will listen to the recording again, but this time to answer some questions. * Give the handout. * Give them time to read the questions, then play the recording. * Have them check their answers in group. * Discuss in open class.
* Drag students' attention to some words and have them pronounce them. * have them repeat the words and make them realize the 'H' in english can be sometimes silent. * Ask them to complete HO 2. * check HO 2 * Give HO 3 * Check HO3
