Procedure (45-45 minutes)
Ss will be asked to describe to each other in groups the words (infinitives) according to what is on the index cards.
Teacher will discuss what imperatives are (same as infinitives, commands), as well as negative imperatives (dont...). Look at box on P.95: Ex. Drink water. Ex. Don't sit for a long time. Ask for examples of imperatives.
Ss will be asked to underline imperatives in text on P.94. (9B Body moving.)
Ss will be asked to make a sentence for each picture (Ex. 2, P.95) using word in the box on P.95. These consist of imperatives and negative imperatives.
Ex. 3, Imperatives, P.45 in exercise book. Match instructions (imperatives) in box with pictures.
Exercise 4, P. 45. Rearrange words. What kind of words are these? Imperatives.
P.45, Exercise 5. Complete text with words in box. Write answers on WB.
