Procedure (42-56 minutes)
Teacher starts the lesson with a short imaginary story and asks students to say if it is a truth or a lie ? and asks them to tell what I have already said and write it on the board
Teacher progects the pictures then ask students to look at the pictures then asks them to listen to the audio and say what is the relationship between these people? Teachers asks students what can they ermember ? by asking them to answer 3 questiions . After that teacher plays the audio again and have them check their answers.
Tr . asks students look at the 6 question and asks them what can they remember then asks them to listen to the audio and check their answers.
Tr. asks students to work in pairs and look at the sentences from the conversation and discuss the 3 questions. Have them check their answers with other partners . Tr write the answers on the board . Teacher elicits from students the structure and what is the common word we use while reporting speech . Teacher highlight the structure . Tr . asks students to work in pairs one will write 3 sentences about herself and the 2nd one tries to tell what her partner said .
Teacher asks students to listen to the audio to see if the voice goes up or down while saying said. Have them listen again then have them work in pairs and practice the sentences
Teachers asks students to work inpairs and discuss the 2 questions . 1. How do Suresh and his father will feel? 2. What do you think the result of the conversation will be ?
Tr. asks students to work in pairs and write the conversation between suresh and his father . imagine that you are suresh then work with another partner and relate the conversation .
