Procedure

Warmer (3-4 minutes) • Introduce the theme of today's lesson

Link to the previous class.

Lead in (5-8 minutes) • Link with the previous lesson.

Briefly eliciting the previous lesson. Visuals showing fear of flying, like and don't like.

Activity 1 (6-8 minutes) • Teach intensity of like/don like love/hate

Put the words in the correct order in the Cline. Like Hate Don't like Love Don't mind it is an effective way to memorize intensity.

Activity 2 (5-8 minutes) • Memorisation like/ don't like ing form

Fill in the gaps with the verbs.

Activity 3 (10-15 minutes) • Personalised task -

Group of 3 , find out your colleagues likes and dislikes and do role play in front of the class.

Grammar Pronunciation (5-7 minutes) • Pronunciation

I ll ask students to say like or don t like to some examples.
