Then I will try to introduce the main idea of the lesson's topic by eliciting it using some teaching aids like pictures in addition to some questions. - what can go wrong when you're travelling?
- I will start asking Ss some questions about travel problems to gain their interest in the topic like : - what can go wrong when you're travelling? - how did you save the situation? - What did you do to resume your journey? - learners will focus on the presented pictures and I will elicit some ideas about what Alice and Javier might be talking about. - discussion will be in pairs. - I will start to give instruction about the listening exercise before distributing the handouts to students. - Students will work in pairs to answer the questions listed in the handouts. - I will check the answers when student finish working on them with focus on the free controlled answers of the questions (C5 - D7).
- I will stick some A4 papers with vocabulary word on the WB. - I will start explaining the meaning of the new words by different ways like eliciting or by using pictures as teaching aid materials to elicit the meaning on the new words. - I will start the controlled practice exercise by giving the Ss handout of Gap fill exercise. - students will fill the spaces in pair work.
- I will try to make learners focus on the situations and I will give them a few minutes to remember travel problems they've had and to think about what to say. - I will give them small pieces of papers with some problems written on them to discuss in groups and talk about them. - some learners may have stories that happened with the in the past and they may tell us about them.
