Procedure (15-24 minutes)
The teacher shows the students a picture of a teenager and asks the students to define the word "teenager". Then the teacher is going to teach them the right pronunciation of this word.
In this stage, the teacher is going to teach the students the new vocabulary that the students might not know. Such as (knocking, to roll eyes, elf, a dead battery). Then the teacher will give the students some phrases to match the words and check the answers with the class.
The teacher asks the students to write P if they think parents are talking about teenagers, or T if they think teenagers are talking about parents. Then they will have two minutes to read the article and write the answers individually. Then they'll check the answers with the whole class.
Each student is going to read a paragraph out loud and the whole class is going to answer the question "What do you think the highlighted verbs and phrases mean?" and they're going to give examples.
The students are going to answer "Do any of parents' or teenagers' habits annoy you? Which one?"
