Procedure (30-38 minutes)
-T projects her daily road trip on the WB and tells students how she usually travel to ITI. And How she travelled today because she was late. -Sts discuss how they travel to ITI everyday and how would they travel if something went wrong.
Activity 1: - Sts try to write the correct form of the verb between brackets in HO. 1. Time: 3-4 min. How it is done: IW then PW ICQ: how much time do you have? (3 min) Are you going to work alone? (Yes) Feedback: Sts discuss their answers in pairs. After that Sts listen to the full audio recording to check their answers.
Activity 2: - Sts do exercise 1 in the guided discovery task in HO. 2-A Time: 2 min How it is done: IW then PW ICQs: How much time do you have? (2 min) Are you going to work alone? (Yes) Feedback: Sts discuss answers with a partner. T nominates Sts from each group to discuss answers with the WC. - Sts do exercise 2 in the guided dicovery task HO. 2-A Activity 3: Time: 2 min How it is done: IW then PW ICQs: How much time do you have (2 min) Are you going to work alone? (Yes) Feedback: Sts discuss answers with a partner. T nominates Sts from each group to do the matching on the WB. T reorganizes partners/small groups Activity 4: - Sts do exercise 3 and 4 in the guided discovery task HO. 2-B Time: 3- 4 min How it is done: IW then PW ICQs: How much time do you have (3 min) Are you going to work alone? (Yes) Feedback: St discuss answers with a partner T project exercise 3 and 4 on the WB, and nominates Sts from each pair to write the correct answer on the WB.
