To provide fluency and accuracy speaking practice in a conversation about having a party in the context of getting together
Subsidiary Aims

To provide specific information listening practice using a text about having a dinner party with any famous people from history to attend in the context of getting together
Procedure (33-45 minutes)
T greets the Ss and ask them how is your day today?
T shows Ss a picture and make them guess what this picture is about. T asks Ss "who are they? Why they are together?" Small guessing game will model the image that they are going to listen and they will take notes about the listening. After listening they are going to choose which listening was better for them.
The Ss will use the Useful Language while they are working individually and with their group. a) Explaing your list ( The studnets will explain the reason and why do they think that they will invite that person) b) Agreeing ( The studnets will share their ideas with their groups to see if they agree with them and if they want to share the same table with them.) c) Discussing the seating plan (The studnets will explain why these people are good to sit together or why not.)
The Ss prepare some dinner party individually first. Then they are going to combine their ideas with their group. In this lesson I will need two groups of four Ss. Two team will have different ideas. I will be explaining Useful Language a/b during the activity
The students will look throught their notes and then they are going to include themselves in the final seating plan. In this part the students will discuss who is going to sit where.
In this part of the lesson, The students will change the groups and partners and tell them about their dinner table and what they had during that dinner. At the end they will choose the best table. And the teacher will get feedback and do some error-corrections.
