In this lesson student are going to read and discuss about house work. after reading they are going to do some controlled practice and share their ideas about is housework hard enough as gym workout.

Main Aims

  • To provide detailed reading practice using a text about Housework in the context of Daily Life

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide clarification of Describing in the context of Housework is hard.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

In this stage teacher will talk about his experience, working in house and tell them how hard it is . This stage will inform student that teacher want to talk about housework is hard as workout in gym .

Pre-Reading/Listening (12-15 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

In this stage teacher will write some of the words on board , and the teacher will right Make/do and student for the review they have to answer it which one is the correct form . (do : housework , a sport , my bed , ) (make : plan , choice , excuse)

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

Student are going to read the headlines and then they have 2min to think about what word is missing in headlines and share their answers to whole class .

While-Reading/Listening #2 (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

And after student read the text they will answer the comment at the end of the text and then they will match comment and share it to who will be agree with it.(e.t its P b in page 30 )

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

At the end students will discuss about their experience about housework and things they have done with whole class and expand what they have learned .
