Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- T starts the session by greeting The Ss at the beginning and asking them about what they do in their weekend ? - T shows a pic on the screen (( pic of some successful celebrities regarding the topic )) and asking questions to elicit the the topic from Ss *They are* - What do you see in this pic guys? - Do you think they are known for what? - So we agree that they achieved big accomplishments what can we call those types of people? - Then in pairs, students will discuss this question in 2 mins, T asks ICQs *1-will you work alone or with your friend ? *2- how many mins do you have ? *3- will you speak only or speak and tell me about your friend opinion ? and the question is : - What are the types of effective people, do you think? - T conducts content feedback by asking them about their opinions

Pre-Reading/Listening (0-1 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

- T introduces the task ( we will listen to a podcast about Habits of effective people ) continues his speech by saying *but before listening we have some vocabs you will listen to in the podcast - T displays pictures on the screen and tries to elicit the word - Explain the word using MPF : ~ Acrobatics~ where are the details of the CECDW, mention the ccqs and types of drilling.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (2-3 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

- T gives Ss gist task (book page 18 ) - instructions: * T tells students they will listen to a podcast of a man and a woman they are discussing ( The 7 Habits of Highly Effective people ) book * Here we have 4 ideas in letter B you'll listen to in the audio, listen and order them as you hear them from 1-4 , individually Asking ICQs *1- will you only listen? or listen and put the ideas in order? *2- will you answer alone or with your friend? - give them 1 minute to read the ideas T puts the audio on - lets share the answers with the same partner - T shows them the answer key and asks them about their score - how many point did they get ?

While-Reading/Listening #2 (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

T gives Ss detailed task (book page 18 ) - instructions - T asks Ss in letter C to match the names to what people usually do? - Modeling with them ( the first example ) - give Ss time for 3 mins - asking ICQs *1-you will work alone or with your friend ? *2- how many mins do you have ? - T monitors - check in pairs - show the key answer

Post-Reading/Listening (7-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

- T gives Ss questions to discuss on the screen. - T divides them into groups of 3. - T sets the communicative goal ( Discuss the questions with your partner and tell me who has the same ideas as your ) - Set the time for 10 minutes. - ICQS 1- So you will speak only or speak and tell me who has the same ideas as yours ? 2- How many mins do you have ? -T monitors -T says SWITCH - Content and language feedback ( T conducts ……)

Feedback (2 minutes) • To show them caring and Check ss comments and help them to correct it in a better way
