Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

After greeting, I will ask them to open their books and pay attention to the reading and what they do guess about its topic then I play audio and ask them to listen, they see how verbs change in third person and how negative sentence are made

Test #1 (8-14 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

I will give them HOs and ask them to fill gapes with right verb then I will play audio and ask them to correct their mistakes. Also, I will ask them to highlight verb in this text

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

I will write some positive and negative simple present sentences with different subjects on the board, and I will highlight S in third person sentences, and I teach them we use v+s for third person. then I make negative sentence with don't and doesn't and I will say they are helper verbs and make our verbs negative I will focus on negative third person sentence and teach them how we get s from main verb and give it to the don't and make doesn't, so we don't use both doesn't and v+s together

Test #2 (8-13 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

now I ask them to do their exercise in their book and check their answer with each other and correct their mistakes and I will be monitoring them

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I will ask them to work in a pair and tell 4 true things about themselves (2negative 2 positive) after that I will ask them to say about her\his partner true things
