Speaking lesson / frequency adverbs
Elementary level

Description

In this speaking lesson , students learn about frequency adverbs through guided discovery based on different tasks. The lesson starts with students making predictions about the lesson's topic. Then , they will read a text about an athlete's routine and reply to some questions about frequency adverbs . Just after it, in the useful language stage, they will define the words "habits" and "frequency" and have a look at the use/form of those frequency adverbs with some CCQ to make sure they understand how to use those adverbs properly. This section will be followed by a pronunciation exercise including drilling and identifying stresses. For the productive task, they will have to answer some questions on their own , using frequency adverbs before comparing their answer with partners & sharing their answers with the whole class. This lesson will end by a Delayed error correction to help students to improve.
