Procedure (32-48 minutes)
-The teacher asks questions related with the listening topic.
-The students listen to the audio and answer the questions in 3a and 3b. -They will check their answers with their pairs first then with the teacher. -If it is necessary, the teacher will play the audio again to check the answers
-The teacher will show a text about shopping that contains sentences with past simple and present perfect. -The students will play running dictation with their pairs to get a look at the text and also get familiar with the usage of past simple and present perfect together. -After the game, the students will underline the sentences and try to find the difference between these two grammar functions. -The teacher will briefly explain the grammar.
-The students will practice the language with the grammar exercises in the coursebook. (4a, 4b, 4c, 4e). -The answers will be checked with the teachers.
-The students will create questions with using 'Have you ever..?'. -They will ask the questions to their classmates and write their answers. -The students can use the example questions in their coursebook if they needed.
