Procedure (48-60 minutes)
1_Greeting: Say "Hello, how are you?" and then play the hello song. 2_Assign a student as the teacher helper. 3_Roll Call: Take attendance using a roll call song. 4_Workbook Check: Quickly check students' workbooks. 5_Quick review: Ask students, "what did we learn in the last term?"
1_Arouse Interest: Show students the teddy bear and the ball. Ask them to name these toys. 2_Activate Schemata: Show a picture of toys and say : Look at this picture. These are toys. Can you name any of these toys? 3_ Pre-teach Vocabulary: show Show the image or the real objects of the toys and ask, "What is this? Can you say the name?" 4_ Give learners a purpose : Ask students to guess which toys will be in the song. Write their guesses on the board.
Listen and Find: Play the song "My Toys." Ask students to listen and point to the toys in the images as they hear them.
Play the song again. This time, say we want to do a role-play with the conversation, 'What do you want?' 'I want a [...], please.' So, I'm going to play this song one more time. You have to listen carefully. Role-Play: Divide students into pairs. One student asks, "What do you want?" and the other responds with "I want a [toy], please." Swap roles.
_Direct the students to do the book activity related to toys. Shop Game: Place toy flashcards or real toys in front of the students, role-play as the seller asking "What do you want?", and have students respond with "I want a [...], please," then hand them the flashcard and say, "Here you go."
