Review : Students' knowledge will be reinforced by reviewing previously learned vocabulary related to animals and the structure "I see a ...".
Procedure (44-59 minutes)
1- Greeting the students with " hello, How are you? " Then, play a hello song. 2- Assign a student as the teacher helper. 3- Roll call, taking attendance using a roll call song. 4- Checking students workbooks. 5- Quick review with the question what did we learn in the last session? 6- review the previously learnd vocabulary related to farm animals with the missing card game.
Show a picture of various farm animals and highlight the chick, explaining that the chick comes from an eggshell.
1_ Value Presentation: Use two puppets to demonstrate taking care of an animal. _____________________________________ 2_ Teach and practice the new science words: egg, eggshells, chick. _Check understanding by asking question like what is this?
Direct students to do the book activity related to the new vocabulary and the value of taking care of farm animals. but First ask questions like : what do you see? What is the boy doing? Where is the cow? And etc.
Pair Activity: Have students work in pairs to ask and answer questions about where different animals are on a farm model using the structure 'Where is the...?' and 'Where are the...?'".
Roleplay: invite children to role-play the scene, of taking care of an animal.
