Description

in this lesson students will learn how to handle a first date in English. They will be introduced some vocabulary about personality and also good phrases to ask when they want to get personal information. The most important part of this lesson is speaking and group activities.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

by the end of this stage students will have got ready and engaged with the topic by a video about red and green flags.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

The teacher will explain vocabulary related to personality and ask CCQs. drilling will be included.

Exposure (6-8 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

To work on the passage on the Powerpoint and ask related CCQs. To clarify vocabulary better to help them understand the context better.

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

This stage will be focusing on speaking. In the first activity students will talk about themselves and their dream partner in pair. after that T will ask students to remember something about their friend. In the second activity some words will be given to students in pair and they will be asked to write questions. after 5 minutes we will do a whole class activity in which students will randomly take a name and ask that person the written questions.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-5 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

The T will write errors and explain them to the whole class.
