In this lesson. learners will be introduced to vocabulary which is about computer.We will start our lesson with warmer which is a discussion about computers and internet .the second stage in this lesson will be a lead that let the students have a brainstorm about computer actions the know and after that they will be produced to the all new vocabulary about the computer actions .in the next stage students will have task to check that they understand the concept of the target language and the last stage in this lesson is listening part that students will listen to a conversation about sending email and having hand out of the instructions and they have to put them in the correct order

Main Aims

  • To introduces new vocabulary of Computer actions in a context of conversation between a teacher needs a help from the receptionist to send an email

Subsidiary Aims

  • Students will practice their listening for specific information through recorded conversation about how to send an email

Procedure

Warmer (5-7 minutes) • To introduce the topic to the students

In this stage, student will have the first handout which contains five questions about computers and internet .students will ask each others about these questions after they finish they will have a whole class discussion

lead in (5-8 minutes) • To give students space to think about the computer actions and to Determine thestudent's knowledge of the subject level

in this stage I will show the students two pictures of computer icons and ask them to write down any computer action they know

introduce the target language (8-12 minutes) • To introduce the new vocabulary and clearly their meaning

Students will watch a power point slid show of computer icons that introduces the meaning of it for students.After that students will practice the new language with drilling.

Controlled Practice (6-7 minutes) • Check that students understand the meaning of the target languge which is the computer actions through a gap fill tack

in this stage each student will have a handout of seven sentences with gaps and twelve word of computer actions in a box students have to fill the gaps with the appropriate word from the box

Listening practice (7-10 minutes) • to give the student the speac to practes their litsening for speasific information in a context of recorded converstion

in this stage students will listen to a conversation between two ladies. One of them ask the other to help her to send an email. After the first listening students have a handout of eight sentences from the conversation which are instructions of sending an email but with the wrong order .so students have to listen and put the instructions in the correct order
