The teacher attaches nine pictures to the wall next to the board. There are going to be six or seven students in the class so they will work in two groups. The teacher hands out nine strips with the adjectives to each group. The students decide how to match the words with the pictures. When they are ready they come up to the board and stick in the adjectives under the pictures. For this lesson time limit is 5 minutes. When they are ready with the answers they stick the strips under the pictures. At this stage there is no FB

While they are busy with matching activity the teacher writes the following on the board: - Jack is very aggressive. He is always getting into fights. - Yes, I know. He also writes down two definitions on the board: People who get angry quickly and like fighting are _______ People who like giving orders to other people are ________ This is going to be a modelling for the next activity. The teacher is handing out the sheets of paper with two dialogues and definitions of the personal adjectives below them. Students work individually, the read the dialogues with underlined target language. Then they have to match the TL with the definitions. When they are ready they check their answers within their groups. The teacher gives them an answer key and after that they go to the wall and correct their mistakes (matching activity).

Feedback+Pro (6 minutes) • To check understanding of the vocabulary

When the students have corrected the mistakes the teacher will ask them CCQs in order to check they are confident with the meaning of the TL CCQs: - How do we call a person who likes showing his feelings? - How do we call a person who is so attractive and everybody likes him/her? - What kind of person can make other people do what they want? The teacher shows the cards and works in pronunciation and asks students to repeat after him.

Semi-controlled activity (5 minutes) • To let students practise the TL

The teacher asks the students to think of any adjective and find a person among their friends, colleagues or family members who have this characteristic feature and tell their partners.
