• Open Slide 2. • Tell the class they are going to decide in groups which of the given pieces of information are the most confidential. • Ask ICQs to ensure the students understood the instructions. • Monitor the class to feed in language or provide any other help SS may need. Make notes of SS' mistakes for later DEC. • Do open class FB. • Open Slide 3. • Get SS to discuss which pieces of information the given people have the right to know. • Ask ICQs to make sure SS understood the instructions. • Monitor the class to ensure SS are on task and feed in language if necessary. • Do open class FB and DEC.

Listening for Gist (6-7 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist listening task

• Open Slide 4. • Tell SS they are going to listen to three people and answer 2 questions. • Get SS to turn their HO to 'listening' side. • Play the recording once. • Get SS to compare their answers in pairs. • Do open class FB (Slides 5-6)

Follow-up Activity (7-8 minutes) • To provide SS with an opportunity to resond to the text and develop speaking fluency.
