To provide specific information and gist listening practice using a text about conversations at the airport and in an airplane in the context of planes
Subsidiary Aims

To provide clarification of vocabulary about things in an airplane flight in the context of planes
Procedure (34-45 minutes)
Learners will be prompted to discuss through asking them questions regarding whether they have traveled abroad, whether they have been on an airplane or not, if they like airplanes or not and so on.
Students will be pre-taught some vocabulary about things usually seen in airplane flights. - First, they will be given the vocabulary to discuss if they knew any of them in groups of three. - Then, they will be given jumbled definitions in pieces of papers and they will be asked to put the definitions in front of their vocabulary. they will be provided with the answer sheet. - After that, images of the words will be presented on board and the vocabulary will be elicited from the learners. And then learners will practice pronouncing these words in a drilling practice activity. After each word being drilled it's written form will be presented.
Students will be asked to first discuss what they see in the three images, to get their interest and prepare them for the listening, Then, they will be asked to listen to the three conversations for the purpose of matching them to the three images. Then, they will check their answers in pairs.
learners will be given a set of multiple choice questions in which they will have to answer while they listen to the conversations. After they listen they will be asked to check their answers in pairs. In the end the answer key will be placed on the board and they will have to get up and check their answers.
A set of phrases about the stages of getting into an airplane will be given to the learners and they will have to order them according to which one occurs first, they will carry out this activity in pairs . In the end, answers will be checked through chain answering as one learner will read the first phrase then the second will read the second and so on.
