In this stage I want my students to read handouts and involving them to talk about the difference between simple past and present perfect to clarify the meaning of new grammar

By providing some examples of the grammar I am going to clarify the usages, meaning ,form, pronunciation and draw student’s attention to the TL

I will clarify the meaning by drawing a timeline on the board and asking some CCQs; Are the actions done in the past or present? Is there any visible result or evidence of the actions in the present time?After that I will elicit the structure from the students to clarify how to form the sentences. The students going to answer the provided exercises on their handouts and they go through checking in pairs and eventually we are going to correct the answers with whole class

I will ask my students to talk about news, recent events , life experiences ,present results ,unfinished time word and how long something lasted?
