Description

In this, lesson, students learn new story by learning new vocabulary and using them to write another end for the original one. The lesson starts with a vocabulary explanation. This is followed by 2 speaking tasks which students are guided to use. Finally, there is some controlled practice in which students write a plot of a story and tell this plot to their colleagues. lesson students learn

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-Greet your student . - Tell them that your favorite story is Cinderella. - Ask them to write down the title of their favorite story. - Divide them into pairs. - Ask each one to show what he wrote to his partner. - Get the feedback by asking “Were your stories the same?” our student.

Task 1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

Ask your students to match each definition to the words that fit the meaning. - Let your students check in pairs. - Show them the answer key

Teach (10-15 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage.

Divide your students into pairs. -In pairs, ask them to read the passage and answer the following questions. - Check their answers and explain the words showing the examples.

task 2 (10-15 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

-Ask students to get their phones and put in the code of the Kahoot exercise. -Praise the winners. -Ask them to answer the exercises in their books.
