Main Aims

By the end of this lesson, students will be exposed to some adjectives to describe feelings, for example (bored, excited, up set).
Subsidiary Aims

Listening for specific information (for tick what Vicky and Martin talk about).
Procedure (40-20 minutes)
Telling the student how i feel about the snow, by saying I feel excited. Then asking them how they feel.
Showing the students pictures related to feelings, elicit ideas about the pictures from them. Writing the words on board, model and drill the words.
In their groups discussing some questions about having children, then ask the students to share their ideas with the class.
Before plying the recording, students will be given a hand out with some questions related to the listening. Then they will listen to the record to answer the questions.
The students will be listening to the recording again, answering some new questions about Vicky and Martin, check the answers with the class.
Before starting the activity, write on the board positive feelings/negative feelings, under each category write an example (calm/bored). Divide the students into two teams (A,B), tell the students team A will write the positive feelings and team B will write the negative ones, first one to finish will be the winner.
