Main Aims

Students will learn and practice the numbers 18 and 19.

Students will pre-practice and pre-read the letter 'L' (capital and small) with some related vocabulary.

Students will review and practice using demonstrative pronouns (this, that, these, those).
Subsidiary Aims

Speaking and listening skills: Practice using numbers, farm vocabulary, and demonstrative pronouns in sentences.

Writing skills: Pre-practice and pre-read capital and small 'L' with examples.

Review: Reinforce the previously learned farm animal vocabulary and demonstrative pronouns.
Procedure (43-61 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in To set lesson context and engage students 1- Greeting the students with " hello, How are you? " Then, play a hello song. 2- Assign a student as the teacher helper. 3- Roll call, taking attendance. 4- Checking students workbooks. 5- Quick review with the question "what did we learn in the last session? 6- Direct the students to do the book activity for reviewing demonstrative pronouns and vocabulary related to animals.
Show a picture of a farm with 19 animals. Use the picture to count and name the animals together.
1_Write numbers 18 and 19 on the board and practice pronunciation. _____________________________________________ 2_Practice capital 'L' and small 'l' using the words "lollipop" and "lamb".
1_ Direct students to do the book activity related to numbers 18 and 19. _____________________________________________ 2_ Direct students to do the book activity related to letter "L".
Play a game: Divide students into groups of two. each group names as many words as they can that start with the letter 'L'.
Farm Story Creation: Students create a short story about a farm using numbers, farm vocabulary , etc then share with the class.
