To provide clarification of shopping in the context of a reading about vocabulary of shopping and to enable students practise a conversation of TL
Subsidiary Aims

To enable students to use an acuurate language to ask and answer questions about TL
Procedure (45-52 minutes)
Students are shown the material and the activity is introduced. They are given the instruction to find someone in the class who.... (eg doesn't work on Tuesdays)and write the name of the person in the next column.
Students are shown the visuals and asked what is wrong. Teacher takes notes of the answer on the board.(The jumper is too large, The shoes are too big..) They are asked to read the text and detect the problem customer has. Then they do peer check. The teacher nominates some students to answer.
The students are shown the HO and given the instruction to fill the crossword with the words according to the meaning in the sentence. They are told to work in pairs and if they are not able to find every each of them, it is not a problem. The pairs check their answers with another pair. The answers are posted on the board.
Students are given the instructions to put the sentences in order to create a meaningful dialogue. The first one is given as an example. They do the activity by themselves and do peer check afterwards. The answer key is posted on the board. Any wrong answer will be corrected on the board.
Students will act out the dialogue they have put in order. The class will be designed as a shop as much as possible and students will be free to move and walk around the classroom. Teacher will monitor the students and take notes of the any correct and incorrect language on the board. Teacher also will help students if they need any help.
Teacher highlights the good language on the board. If students use the TL as expected it is also necessary to highlight it to set an example to the others and for motivation. The incorrect language is corrected and reformulated by the students. They work in pair and brainstorm some ideas to reformulate the incorrect use. Then teacher elicits the answers.
