Ss are not supposed to write sentences about art. For example, culture, expression, creativity, emotion, etc. Start giving instructions using 'I want you to...' Ask ICQs like 'Are you going to write sentences about art? Are you going to write words?' How much time do you have? 2 minutes. Meanwhile, write agreeing and disagreeing phrases on WB.

Vocabulary (1-2 minutes) • To link the subject of art with cinema

Ask Ss what they have noted and write the related words with cinema on WB or some other key words that would be useful during the class. Teach meaning and pronunciation.

Focus on lexis (1-2 minutes) • To teach new phrases

On WB: I think so too/ That's right/ I don't think that's right/ I agree / I don't agree / Well, maybe / Exactly / I disagree. Give their meaning and pronunciation.

Focus on lexis (2-3 minutes) • To learn types of films

Give Ss matching HO and ask them to match the films with their types. Tell them that they have 2 minutes. The answers will be on the other side of the HO. After completing the activity and checking the answers, T gives them FB by repeating the pronunciation of the answers. After giving instruction ask Ss how much time they have and what they are supposed to do with the HO. Give some dictionaries to Ss. A CCQ: What is the difference between horror and thriller? Do you scream while watching horror films? Yes. Are horror films realistic? No. Are thrillers realistic? Yes. Do you scream while watching thrillers? No. You hold your breath.

Speaking (2-3 minutes) • To speak about what kinds of film the Ss like

Get Ss speak about what kinds of film they like with their pairs. ICQ: Are you going to talk about your favorite food? No. Are you going to talk about the film types you like? Yes. How much time do you have? 3 minutes. T monitors while Ss are speaking to help them or correct their mistakes. T takes some notes in WB if necessary.

Listening for gist (4-5 minutes) • To mach the situations with the conversations

Tell Ss that they will listen to three conversations. Ask Ss after Conversation 1: 'How many people are speaking? Where are they? Do they agree each other?' After Conversation 2: Are they talking about Indian movies? Are they talking about Hollywood? Can it be an interview?' After Conversation 3: Are they buying a movie ticket? Are they hiring a DVD? Where are they? Is she happy about the decision?

Listening for specifics (5-6 minutes) • To find specific information from the listening conversation

Tell Ss that they are going to listen the conversations again and try to answer the questions. Questions will be written on the other side of the matching HO. Firstly, let Ss read the questions and ask if the questions are clear. Then listen to the each track more than once if necessary. T can give FB (correct answer) after each track.

Speaking (3-4 minutes) • To speak about real-world subjects

Ss needs to be separated into 4 groups. T gives a speaking task to each group and get Ss start talking. T will be listening to the Ss to monitor the activity
