After that, others try to guess if it is true or not. Lead-in: Students go to the Padlet platform. The teacher wants them to write a sentence anonymously about their upcoming holiday. When they are done, students are asked to guess whose sentence it is. They are going to guess it.

Controlled Practice (5-7 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Students are going to the Quizizz platform and answer the related grammar questions (gap filling) individually.

Free Practice (6-8 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

The teacher creates columns in Padlet. There are three columns: Technology, Education and Travel. Students first brainstorm together. Then, each student is going to write their prediction by choosing two topics. Before that, the teacher shows them the guidelines from the Grammar Focus book p. 150 to write their predictions. Then, the teacher takes a look at the Padlet. At the end of the lesson, students complete an exit ticket.
