To provide practice with vocabulary in the context of 'buying things' and also to improve listening skills with the help of reading.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide listening for detail practice using an activity text in the context of buyig things and also to provide students with lvocabulary activities for them to check their own understanding.
Procedure (46-54 minutes)
Write ''do you have....? '' '' how much.....? '' '' It's/They're .....'' Divide the Ss into 2 groups. Put the pictures on the W/B with the pricetags under them. Ss ask questions and get answers from the other groups.
Divide the students into groups/pairs (optional) Give out the Bingo cards. Tell them the number. Write each number which is already told. Choose the winner. Check answers. Drill if necessary.
Hand out the task to pairs. Ss listen to the recording twice. Ss work on the gapfill. Monitor. Check answers.
Hand out the gap-fill. Ss work alone. Monitor. Check their answers using the projector.
Listen to 7a. Ss repeat after each sentence. Drill when necessary.
Ss work in pairs Hand out the task. Monitor. Check their answers. Drill when necessary.
Write ''Do/does...have/has ''' ''how much....'' ''It's .....'' on the WB. Divide the W/B into two sides. Give names to the two groups. Write the group names on the W/B. 3,2,1...go !!! Check for any errors. Choose the winners.
