Procedure (35-45 minutes)
The lesson starts with a change of places. I will tell them about the guy in the text. "Remember the guy Ash Sharma? He is starting business." There are some sentences in text, "if" and "when" clauses
If clause Clause 1 Clause 2 If+Present Simple , will I will explain the meaning and usage of the clauses with some examples. Don't forget the comma. I will show them some situations that they can understand. First examples will be from the text. If it's successful, I will be able to sell advertising. We will do a "fill in the blanks" exercise" The sentences will be from the text. They will do it by themselves then check with partner. The answers will be on the board.
Lead-in: we're starting a business. Pizza Place! What will happen if the chef is not good? If the people won't like the pizza, we will lose money.
It's time for the speaking activity. Some of them will be bankers. Some of them will be starting business people. They will have to talk to each other using hopefully "if" and "when"
