Description

In this lesson students are going to read a description of a movie . After that students are going to be familiar to the structure of a description of a movie and the way they need to write it.they will be given some time to write a similar description at the end of the lesson.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

In this stage I will upload a picture of various Poster of movies and I'll ask students do they enjoy of watching movies? or how many movies do they watch in every month?!

Exposure (3-4 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Students will be asked to read the description of the movie .and then they are asked to fill the blanks in part A And complete task part B

Useful Language (6-7 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

The students will be informed about the language used in a description of the movie: It was directed/written by... It is based on a true story /the book It stars It was filmed in The movie is about In the end I strongly recommend because

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

In this stage students are ask a similar description of a movie that they would recommend to people.

Feedback and Error Correction (2-3 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

Students are asked to exchange their description with a partner and tell each other what they think about their partner's description. The letters will be collected in at the end and students will receive some feedback from the teacher. They will be asked to write the second draft at home according to the feedback that they have been given
