Vocabulary: To provide students with vocabulary about food and drinks through the context of eating habits.
Subsidiary Aims

Speaking: Students will practise speaking skill through the context of eating habits and using the vocabulary in speaking.
Procedure (45 minutes)
Teacher sticks some pictures of food and drinks on the board and asks: What do you see on the board? Give students two minutes to think of the pictures.
After eliciting that these pictures for food and drinks, the teacher will ask: What's this? trying to elicit the word for each picture from the students. Then, model and drill In Pair work, Ss will ask each other: What do you like? What don't you like?
Teacher will write on the board in two columns, the first one the time " morning, afternoon, evening", and the second one the meals not in order and ask students to match them. Then, ask students to say sentence, e.g. I have breakfast in the morning. In pair work, Ss will do the first handout.
Teacher: What do you have for breakfast? In group work, students will ask each other. Teacher writes on the board: eat , drink and asks: do you eat or drink milk? Ss will answer, then write the food next to eat and drinks next to drink.
Students work in groups, Ss will be divided into three groups. Teacher will show them the exercise and say the instruction: Complete the sentences with food words. Students will be given limited time.
Teacher asks: What time.........................have breakfast? What time ........................have lunch? What................. for breakfast? What ..................for lunch? to elicit the answer and the difference of what and what time.Then, asks what's missing. In pairs, students will do exercise 3
