-T shows the Ss some celebration photos of her to make them predict about the event, people and other details. -Ss work in pairs to brainstorm for two minutes. -T asks some questions to elicit answers from the Ss. - What did we celebrate ? - In which year did this celebration take place?/ - Where was the celebration? - What kind of things did we eat/drink ? - What did we do ? - What time did we go back home ? T writes some lexis or phrases on the w/board as feedback.
-Firstly, T reads the real story of what they have just predicted. Ss listen. -T reads the same story for the second time. Ss take notes as they listen. -Ss work in pairs to compare their notes. -Ss,individually, make a paragraph with their notes, which should almost be the same as the real story. -T monitors & helps where necessary as they are writing. -T projects the answers on the w/b so that Ss can check their answers.
-T gives the Ss some key phrases to help them make up a story. -T models the first phrase and puts the Ss into groups to fill in the blanks. -T asks some questions to elicit some answers. -T gives some feedback where necessary.
-Ss write about one of their own celebration memory individually with a maximum of 8 sentences. -Ss can utilize both the phrases and questions which the T has just given. -T monitors and takes some notes of errors. -T nominates some Ss to read their stories. -Ss vote for the best story.
-T writes some of the mistakes on the board. -Ss find the mistake in the sentence. -T corrects the mistake by highlighting with coloured boardmarkers
