T to write on the W/B: Ask me why I am soooooooo tired? T. I am so tired because I HAD stayED up all night watching the Liverpool-Chelsea highlights. Then write the sentence on the W/B highlighting the grammar point of Past Perfect.

Presentation (15-20 minutes) • To Present the Grammar

Presentation: We use the past perfect simple to emphasis that an action that happened BEFORE another action in the past. Past perfect shows that an event happened further back in time than another event.
