For the Ss to notice the form of the grammar structure: How much and How many, using some gap filling exercises in the context of renting a flat.
Subsidiary Aims

For the students to check their answers through a listening track and to notice the correct pronunciation of the pre-teaching vocabulary.
Procedure (26-47 minutes)
The teacher will review the context which was set in the previous lesson asking some questions to the students such as " Is there a TV in the class ? " , "Are there any airports near the ITI ?"
1- The teacher will put some pictures on the board and will give the students a piece of paper, including the names of the objects on the pictures. 2- Then, the teacher will have the students stand up and have them match the names to the appropriate pictures. 3- After checking the matching part with the WC, the teacher will divide the WB into two part and will write " how much " and how many " on each part. 4- At the last stage of the pre-reading, the teacher will try to teach the pronunciation of the blocking vocabulary and have the students repeat the pronunciation of the words.
The teacher will give them a piece of paper, including some incomplete definitions about " how much and how many " to complete the sentences by using how much and how many.
1. The teacher will give the Ss the answer sheet. 2. The teacher will ssk them to check their answers and see if they don't get any part. 3. After this part, the teacher will give them some incomplete sentences to fill. After they have finished this activity, the teacher will ask the students the answers and write them on the WB.
The teacher will give the students a piece of paper, including some sentences to be put in the correct order. To do this, the teacher will have the students listen to a listening track and put the things the people talk about in order. Then, the teacher will have the students listen to the track again and decide which sentences are true or false. The teacher will have the students write their answers on the board. After the listening part, the teacher will go on the lesson with a grammar activity, including " fiil in the gaps in the table with some, any or a. Later, the teacher will give the students answer sheet and have them check their answers in pairs.
The teacher will give the students an incomplete conversation and ask the students to fill it individually. Then, the teacher will have the students listen to a conversation and check their answers in pairs.
