Procedure (32-45 minutes)
Ask students to think about ways of saving money . Brainstorm . Show a picture of Kath Kelly and let them guess what did she do to live cheaply FB
Ss read the text Ask Ss to underline the ways that Kath used to live cheaply . Peer check before whole class feedback
Ss read the article again to find more detailed information .They will give answers for six questions . Work individually before comparing ideas with a partner . FB
Ss do the matching from memory .Then they read the article again to check . FB Ss complete the questions with the multi -word verbs Peer check Clarify the MFP of the multi -word verbs . FB
Ss ask and answer the questions in pairs . give help as necessary . make sure they are using TL by monitoring them . report back FB
