Writing the word FATE on the board I will ask the Ss to explain the meaning of that. If they didn't know, I will tell them short stories and ask them to guess that. and then they will talk to each other about if they believe in fate or not.
To prepare the Ss for the reading they will listen to a recording and will answer question related to the recording. The related exercise (circling the correct word they have heard) will be a preparation for the reading as well.
First Students will read the questions to have an idea about the reading. the they will read an introduction for 2 different reading which they will read it after in pairs. 1 reading for each person in each par will be given and Ss will skim the text to understand what it is about.
Students will read the stories for more details and will go back to the questions in the exercise before the reading and will answer them. The answers will be checked in pairs. Students
Students will work on ex.4 and match the correct answers. Answers will be checked in pairs and the activity will continue on ex.5 to expand what ever they have learnt into other topics.
If there were an extra time Student in groups will talk about some thing that they believe it was fate in their own lives.
