In this lesson students are going to learn some new vocabularies ( immediately _ instead _ impatient_broadband ) They will focus on comprehending the text.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

In this stage I will ask students about whether they had any instance of "struggling with waiting" and then I will tell about one of my experience about it .

Pre-Reading/Listening (4-5 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

In this stage the teacher is going to teach the students some key vocabularies of the text( instead _ immediately _ impatient _ broadband) And then I'll give them a task ( matching sentences with the right word)

While-Reading/Listening #1 (2-3 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging skimming /scanning and specific information reading/listening tasks

The students are going to answer the questions: how do we feel when things don't happen immediately? How much faster are we walking than in the past ?

While-Reading/Listening #2 (4-5 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

The Students are going to read the text deeper and answer questions (long answer) related to the text.( Which one of the time wasting activities annoys you the most ? Why ?)

Post-Reading/Listening (4-5 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

In this stage we will back to our question Wich I asked during the warm up. and I'll ask students to talk about their experience about getting impatient at a specific situation .
