Description

in this lesson the students are willing to learn about transportation within the form of places along with some new words that complement the same topic.

  • To provide practice of transportation in the context of places and stores

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (8-12 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

in this lesson the teacher starts the class by checking the previous sessions homework. engaging the students to do that and lets them to correct them selves followed by 3 to 4 minutes of rest and chitchat to reset their mind right before we hop on to the new lesson.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

in this part we will start the lesson by putting some stickers on the board and reading the conversation together followed by a quick PRO check. after that the teacher asks the students to look at the board and answer the Q using the transportations v.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

in this part we are attempting to make them use this new form based on asking and answering CCQ so that we make sure everything is nice and clean.

Productive Task(s) (7-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

now the teacher asks them to do page 24 followed by another task in page 25 which we will check it right after they finished doing it.

Feedback and Error Correction (10-15 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

after a 5 minute break the teacher will right down an error checking task to check if their is any misunderstandings or not. after that we will have a quick dictation check and the teacher is going to finish the class by reminding them their homework.
