Procedure (30-45 minutes)
-Greeting: Ask students how they feel and give them a positive feeling to start the class. -While greeting I will show that I'm hungry and I ask student if they are hungry as well.he Show students three pictures of (food, fruit and vegetable) and ask them to say their name: CCQs: *Is it food or vegetables? *Is it food or fruits? -Draw the picture of food, fruits and vegetables on the board, show the flash cards of the target words and ask the students to put them in the correct category. ICQs: Do you match the pictures? Yes CCQs: *(showing the flash card of apple, moving it between the three items on the board) Is it food, fruit or vegetables?
After finishing the chart on the board I'll show a picture of the target words and elicit the names from the students. CCQ: *Do you like pizza? (They probably all like pizza) Yes. *Is there sasuage in the pizza? Yes *What colors are the apples? *Is it a cheese sandwich or a chicken sandwich? *For a birhday party we have ----- *Monkeys like ----- Drill each word rythmically and write it on the board. Ask some students to drill the word individualy. Chant the song of the Youtube video. Study the pictures in the book. Play audio and ask them to point. Play and ask them to repeat.
ACTIVITY ONE: Give them a worksheet and ask them to match the words with the pictures. ICQs: Do you write the word? No. Do you match? Yes Do you draw line? Yes ACTIVITY TWO: Make students in pairs. Ask one student to be the waiter and the other to be the customer. The waiter asks: What do you like? The customer says: I like carrots. Then ask students one by one to take a small piece of paper, walk around the class and ask them the same question. ICQs: Are you in a restaurant? Yes Do you ask questions? Yes Do you say what you like? Yes ACTIVITY THREE: Ask students to pretend eating something, their partner should guess what they're eating. This exercise is done first in groups of two, then one comes in the middle of the class and performs. The teacher instructs the activity through modeling. ICQs: Do you mime of say?
