Students will listen to the conversation. They have to pay attention to the sentence stress.
The students try to copy the sentence stress correctly and try to sound polite when practising with Can I/we have..?, Would you like... Then students work with their partners and practice the role of the waiter and the customer.
In this stage, the ss should already know the meaning form and pronuncition of Can I/we have...? What would you like? would like. The teacher asks ccq to check their understanding. On the WB, the teacher gives examples from the text and lets the students listen to some parts of the conversation. The teacher elicits the grammar by going back to the first stages of the lesson.
The class is divided into 2 groups. The first group is waiters. The second group is customers. They ask each other what they want to order.
