Main Aims

  • To prepare students for discussing hobbies and free time activities in a flight attendant interview setting, focusing on why interviewers ask this question, different ways the question can be phrased, how to prepare for it effectively, sharing sample hobbies suitable for future flight attendants, introducing relevant vocabulary, and analyzing the significance of their own hobbies and interests.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Welcome students and introduce the topic of discussing hobbies/free time activities in flight attendant interviews. Show visuals related to hobbies / free time activities

Exposure (15-17 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through ppt

Use PPT to cover key points: - Why interviewers ask about hobbies. - Different ways the question can be phrased. - How to prepare for the question effectively. - Showcase sample hobbies suitable for flight attendants.

Useful Language (5-7 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

I will show an Edpuzzle video ,about young people and their free time. Sts are expected to learn new free time activities vocabulary and how to talk about their free time activities. S-T /

Productive Task(s) (5-7 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Ask students to think about their own hobbies / free time activities in pairs and how it is related to flight attendant job.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-7 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

Get answers from few students, make others students give feedback
