Description

In this lesson, they are going to learn speech marks in the context of some animation short clips that have already been collected, and related to our previous and current lesson and there are activities that support both writing and reading skills (more writing because its main aim )

Main Aims

  • To enable students to develop their writing skills in the context of animation about wish

Subsidiary Aims

  • to enable students to develop their reading skills in the context of animation as well

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

first of all I will play some short clips (the clips have TL and have potential to teach with) so the clips gonna be my warm up and exposure both

Exposure (4-6 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

In the clips there are example of speech marks and also some tasks that I can demonstrate them some models and examples Of speech marks

Useful Language (5-7 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

In this stage I will bring my last videoclip that is a conversation between A wish dragon and a boy they will watch it and then they will answer ,Questions have blank space in it so they must be just completed it

Productive Task(s) (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

First OF all I will open my pp and there are some tasks we will answer them together In the end of PP I have a conversation between dragon wish an a girl, then I will make 2 groups A and B so group A for example must be work on GIRL and group B work on wish dragon, Any group that can make the most correct sentences in two minutes is the winner of the game

Feedback and Error Correction (4-7 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

We will check the answers together if there is mistake correct it and then If other groups can correct their opponent answers the point belongs to them. In the end group with most correct sentences is the winner , in this way students can correct each other mistakes (; I do my best to ask CCQ and ICQ in each stage Have a great day
