Procedure (34-45 minutes)

Point out examples on the screen and then ask students if they can give examples of each. Nominate students. Give personal example - Nadia Comaneci
Tell students they will listen to a recording of people talking about achievements they admire. They will work on google slides to match the speaker to the achievement they will talk about. Conduct activity feedback - ask students which activity they think is most/least amazing.
Give students five phrases of useful language. Demonstrate and drill sentence stress.
Tell students they will talk about an achievement they find inspiring. They will have three minutes to prepare and then they will share with their classmates in breakout rooms. Their classmates will ask them questions at the end. If there is time they can repeat activity with a new group. Ask students if anyone would like to volunteer and share the achievement they admire. Conduct DEC.
