Procedure (36-51 minutes)
I start to talk about some of the famous inventions and who has invented them. I also mention the electricity as the most useful invention of all time and my own reason for voting for that.
Now I'll ask my students if they know who invented some of the most useful inventions. In this stage they are supposed to answer my questions in passive form and I am supposed to write the answers on the board and underline the verbs of the sentences to draw their attention for the next stage.
I will ask the students to pay attention to the sentences that I've written on the board in the previous stage then I start to check them and write the correct form of the passive verbs.
In this stage, I will explain the tips of how to make a sentence in passive form.Then I'll clarify the meaning and formation of passive voice by writing active sentences and changing them to passive ones step by step on the board.
The students have to turn to page 145 and do the exercise individually in the given time. they have 6 minutes to complete the task.Then when their time is over we will check the answers all together.
I will ask the students a question about the most useful inventions that were invented by some famous inventors. I will ask them to share their own ideas based on the most helpful inventions to them.
